Project Profile The Mountain View Hospital was a welcome addition to the city of Idaho Falls and the eastern Idaho region. The facility would give options to area residents and alleviate congestion at the one other hospital. The 185,000 square foot medical building was constructed in an area bounded by storm drainage/irrigation canals and the Sand Creek Canal. As the local Engineering firm we acted as liaisons with the local government to advance plans through the approval process. Site stormwater was routed into the city detention pond south of the property. The property was subdivided into lots for development; the hospital occupies the largest lot at 13 acres. Area roads were extended through the property.
